The Society was specifically formed for the academic research and study of hypnotherapy and clinical hypnosis. It is not linked to any group, organisation or training college and its funding is solely from members' contributions with appropriate donations to the Society for prizes to members. The Society is an independent venture dedicated to encourage specific high quality research into clinical hypnosis and hypnotherapy and to provide a source of knowledge for the further professional education of members, associated groups and students.
